The speed limit on Texas State Loop 322 changed from 75 mph to 65 mph, but Google Maps has not been updated to reflect the new speed limit. President Trump changed Lake Ontario to Lake America, and Google already changed it, but the speed limit for Texas State Loop is still not updated.
It was changed in March, and the residents here deserve to feel safe and have the speed limit changed for the out-of-town/state travelers.
When is it going to be changed? It changed in March, and it's already September.

To correct an address
I have tried to get Google to correct the issue and it still hasn’t been fixed, just recently I had an order from Home Depot scheduled for delivery and it was delivered to the wrong address, Home Depot had to issues me a refund but I was still out my order. I also had furniture delivered and they also went to the wrong location fortunately they called me for correct directions. THIS SUCKS THAT AN INTERNET GIANT LIKE GOOGLE CAN’T OR WONT FIX THE ISSUE!!!!
Still waiting for Google to fix the wrong address, all they need to do is switch it from Ave to Drive.

Dont change the name of Lake Ontario You cant just change the name of long established names of major locations arbitrarily. The name is from the original native inhabitants, and has been so for hundreds of years.
Youre changing it because a sitting president who also believes that Canada and Greenland should be made part of the United States. Stop the madness!

I only tried to correct the name of a specific portion of Route 9 in Loudoun County, Virginia, (I tried to rename that part from "West Virginia 9" to "Virginia 9") but it also ended up renaming the portion in West Virginia.
On July 29, 2026, I tried to use the community support forum. The Hindi contributor, whose name translates to Chandrashekhar, not only failed to make the respective changes (and had the audacity to ask for proof and then not even use it), but also, when I tried to prove Chandrashekhar wrong about Google not getting bug reports (more context in the thread mentioned in the paragraph below), they immediately closed the road name discussion and reopened the bug report one from 2022 that I linked. I demanded another contributor solve this case, I'm still waiting as of August 11.
The link to the road name post keeps getting censored; the title is "Attempt to rename specific segments renamed the entire road", posted by Anony-Man.
Preferred solution: Fix the problem mentioned in the post.
User's recommendation: Either keep screaming at them until they do something right or just find another navigation service (e.g. Apple Maps, or any service that uses Mapbox and/or OpenStreetMap).

THEY ARE TRACKING ME
I downloaded Google Maps after someone sent me directions. I thought that I had to push allow in order for me to get the directions BUT ITS TRACKING ME 3 TIMES A DAY!!! Theres no number to call, and they dont respond to emails!

Someone sent me directions and I thought that I had to push allow in order to get the directions but now its TRACKING ME 3 TIMES A DAY.

Google Maps takes people to a physically different address than my home. I have tried several times to correct this through Google Maps.
I get notifications that my updates have been accepted. Whenever I check Google Maps, it still directs me to the wrong address. I'm tired of getting deliveries misdelivered because Google Maps takes delivery drivers to the wrong house and the wrong address.
I simply want to get this corrected, but Google Maps cannot correct it. I would love to have Google Maps contact me at the phone number or email that I provided.

Lake America is incorrect. It is Lake Ontario
I will not be using Google Maps nor will I buy another Pixel Phone or Watch in the future. I am sad because I love both. You are on the wrong side of history

STOP TRACKING ME!!!!!!!!
I was using my directions and something popped up on my screen and asked to track. I thought I had to hit allow to use my maps AND NOW ITS TRACKING ME in the morning, afternoon, and night.
Theres NO WHERE TO TURN IT OFF!
